A 19th century Täbriz carpet, Persia. Hunting carpet in classic 16/17th century design. Dragon-medallion on red field with huntsmen, mounted and armed with spears, swords and bows attacking, lions, leopards, antelopes, wild asses, jackals and hares. Wide border of palmettes, animals and angles. 570×320 cm.
