A round small German renaissance powder horn inlaid with circular and dot-shaped bone and metal inlays on both sides. The horn is c 8 cm in diameter and the charger is spring operated in silver plated brass.
According to tradition a gift from king Frederik VII of Denmark to chamberlain Sperling.
Condition
The remains of the silver plating present. The horn is cracked on one side by the rim.
