A pair of portraits of the married couple H. I. and M. Petersen. 1832. Unsigned. Inscribed on the stretcher Fibiger. Oil on canvas. 41×34 cm. (2).

On the reverse of the canvas furthermore information about that Mr. H. I. Petersen was born October 13 1793 in Broballe on Als Island. It is also mentioned that Mrs. M. Petersen was born in Schleswig October 21 1793.

Condition

In need of cleaning. Minimal peelings and retouches. More crackles under varnis.
