A large gilt and patinated bronze three-piece mantel set, comprising of a pair of candelabra with figures after Clodion and a large mantel clock with hunter, hounds and deer. France, late 19th century. Candelabra H. 87 cm. Clock H. 60 cm. W. 72 cm. D. 25 cm. (3)

Provenance: Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna of Russia (1847–1928), née Princess Dagmar of Denmark, at her Danish residence, Hvidøre. Thence her nephew, Princ George of Greece and Denmark (1869–1957) and his son, Prince Peter of Greece and Denmark (1908–1980), Lille Bernstorff Castle in Gentofte.
