P. P. Rubens, after, 20th century
“Old Woman with a Basket of Coal”. Inscribed on the back of the canvas: cop. A. Heise Drd. Oil on canvas. 92×116 cm.
On the back of the canvas stamped “Copie nach No. 1017 der Gemälde-Galerie zu Dresden”. The painting is a copy after P. P. Rubens værk fra 1616/1618, wich is now situated in the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
Provenance: A Danish manor house.
A few minimal retouches and along the stretcher a few minimal crackles. In need of cleaning and tightening.
