The Dowry Service for Grand Duchess Catherine Pavlovna of Russia (1788–1819), daughter of Tsar Paul I of Russia, was manufactured 1799–1802 and originally comprising 900 pieces. The service was given as a wedding present by Alexander I to his sister, when she married King Wilhelm I of Württemberg (1781–1864).
