“Zeus & Io”. A large earthenware sculpture. Decorated with greyish white crackle glaze with rose and dark grey elements. Designed 1915. Unsigned. Made by Kähler, unmarked. H. 69 cm. W. 50 cm. D. 26 cm.
Provenance: Acquired by the current owner's father at Bruun Rasmussen auction approx. 1960s. Thence by descent within the family.

Normal patina due to age and use, including surface scratches and marks.
