Nikolai Petrovich Bogdanoff-Belsky (b. Smolensk 1868, d. Berlin 1945)

Provenance: Seller's great-grandparents, Henrik Lassen Ørnfeldt (b. 1864 in Kiddegaard, Denmark) and his wife, Anna Lassen Ørnfeldt, née Stanislavovna von Bakalovicha (b. 1874 in Khabarofka, Russia). Henrik Lassen Ørnfeldt was a Russia interpreter and telegrapher, later also a Russian consul. Around 1890, he worked in Siberia for the Great Northern Telegraph Company. Here he married Anna and they had a daughter, Vera (b. 1895). During the Russian revolution the family fled to Denmark. The family were close friends of Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna and her daughter Grand Duchess Olga, both in Russia and later in Denmark.
