Carl Flesch (Wieselburg, Hungary 1873 - Luzern, Switzerland, 1944) was one of his era's greatest violinists. He worked as a teacher in Bucharest, Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Lucerne and wrote several books about his violin playing.
