A Mongolian gilt copper repoussé figure of Amitayus. He is seated in dhyanasana on a square, pierced throne with a textile dropping over the front, hands in a meditative position holding a now missing nectar vase, wearing a pleated robe, jewellery and chunky earrings, the hair assembled in a bun. 18th century. Weight 614 g. H. 18.5 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Some dents. Lacking mandorla and nectar vase.
