An Apulian red-figured bell krater with white paint, the obverse decorated with satyr seated on a rock holding a phiale towards a chiton dressed woman, the woman leaning forward with wreath and mirror in hands and foot resting on a rock, the reverse side with two young men flanking an altar or stele. 350–320 BC. H. 26.5 cm. Diam. 30 cm.
Provenance: From a Danish collection. Acquired from the Art Ancient Gallery, London, in 2010. Here attributed to the Lucera painter. Previously in the collection of M. Survanna.
