A pair of Russian marquetry birchwood and polished wood armchairs, curved backs with figures and animals in prosession. C. 1840. (2).
Provenance: According to tradition the chairs were bought at a Winkel & Magnussen Auction, Copenhagen, in the 1930s among effects from the Russian ambassador in Denmark.
