Provenance: From a collection acquired in the mid 19th century, by doctor Michael Frederik Christian Lund (1826–1907), nephew of the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard. The collection has been in the family's ownership since then. Thence sold at Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneer in 2015, auction 854 lot 215.
