Johan Thomas Lundbye (b. Kalundborg 1818, d. Bedsted 1848)

Four hunting scenes recto and verso on two sheets of blue paper, mounted in two frames. One signed with monogram and dated Dec. 37, three unsigned. Inscribed respectively. “Fredag d. 15. Decbr. 37”, “Løverdag d. 16.”, “Søndag Morgen d. 17. Decbr.” og “Søndag Aften 28. 5.” Drawing ink on paper. Sheet size 18.5×11.3 cm each. (2).

Both sheets were sent as a letter to “Herr Studios medc. Collien”, one with a letter text about hunting in Jægersborg and dated “Jægbg. d. 15 Decb. 37”. The receiver could be Theodor Collin (1815–1902), who became a MB in 1841.
