A Russian icon with depiction of of St. Barbara. Tempera on wooden panel. 19th century. 28×21 cm. Associated and original silver rizza enclosed; indistinct maker's mark, St. Petersburg town mark, 84 standard. The rizza later mounted with another backing. (2)

Condition

Icon: Peeling (especially at the lower edge), minor marks, scratches, repairs and retouches. Rizza: Minor wear due to age.
