A Brass hilted Danish officers sabre c 1810–20 in its brass scabbard with a lions head pommel, chequered grip in ebony, c 78 cm long single edged blade faintly etched on one side with KONGEN OG FÆDRENELANDET (King and Country) in a smooth brass scabbard with two suspension rings.

For tilsvarende sabel dateret 1818 se: Erik Troldhuus, Officerssabler, Vaabenhistoriske Aarbøger 2012 s. 76–79.

Condition

The blade rust marked with weak etching.
