Labels on the back with information about the artist and the locations. The naval building still exists today situated in Bredgade 76. In the basement the well-known Café Petersborg.
Literature: “København. Før og nu - og aldrig”, 1990, vol. 9 p. 45, here an engraving after the present painting of “The Cherry Passage” dated 1801 is reproduced. “Kirsebærgangen” was situated just outside Vesterport and it was a popular place to go for a walk. Kongens Mølle (King's Mill) on Schack's Bastion is seen in the background.
