N. P. Holbech (b. Atlantic Ocean 1804, d. Karlshamn 1889)

A pair of portraits of prefect in the county of Svendborg Frederik Sporon (1783–1867) in his official dress and his wife Marie Elisabeth Sporon (1787–1873), née Koefoed, in a blue dress and a white bonnet. Both unsigned. Inscribed on the reverses “Malet af Holbek 1854” (painted by Holbek1854) also mentioned is the age of the couple, he 70 years old and she 66 years old. Both oil on canvas. 30×25 cm each. Damborg frames with labels. (2).
