Provenance: Descendants of tobacco manufacturer Heinrich Hirschsprung, founder of Den Hirschsprungske Samling (The Hirschsprung Collection), till now.
Emma Mathilde Hirschsprung (1843–1910) was married to Bernhard Hirschsprung, brother of Heinrich and Harald Hirschsprung.
