Finn Juhl (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989)

“Delegates-Chair”. Armchair with walnut frame and brass shoes. Sides, back and loose seat cushion upholstered with patinated brown coloured leather. Model FJ 51. Made and stamped by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, Copenhagen.

The chair was developed for the chamber of The United Nations Trusteeship Council. The first few pieces were made by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder , while production for the UN chamber and the US market in general was done by Baker Furniture. Model presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1951.
