The portrait presumably Franz I, Stephan von Lothringen, Holy Roman Emperor 1745–1765. The cup with six air pearls around central pearl, exterior with vertical cut palmettes, baluster faceted stem, on circular foot with palmettes and folded rim. Germany, 18th century H. 23 cm.
