An iron mounted French? small sword c. 1680 with a pierced pommel, a grip wrapped in copper thread, a pierced shell decorated with a bird and flowers and a c. 70,5 cm. long blade engraved on the upper half with flowers and leaves? On the ricasso the inscription NE ME TIRE PAS SANS RAISONS on one side and NE ME REMETTE POINT SANS HONNEUR on the other.
