Capt. William Ballie acquired the plate about 1775. It was worn and badly corroded. After publishing editions from the retouched plate, Ballie cut the plate into 4 pieces; a center piece (later arched at the top), two smaller pieces from the left side and a larger piece from the right side.
A well inked impression with uneven margins. Pale foxing. Glue stained in upper right corner. Cropped on the plate in upper left corner. Annotations in pencil.
