A French Empire gilt bronze and later black painted bronze figural mantel clock adorned with young woman in classical draping, with white emanel dial. Signed Gaston Jolly á Paris. Early 19th century. H. 42 cm. W. 33 cm. D. 14 cm.

Francois Pierre Gaston Jolly, master 1784 in Paris. After the family business was continued after his death.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. No guarantee of the function of the clock work. The dial cracked around the winding holes. Most likely later gilted. Pendulum and key is enclosed.
