Julius Martensen (1839–1910) was the son of Bishop Hans Martensen, who had a very close and influential relationship with the Danish actress Johanne Louise Heiberg. According to an enclosed copy, Julius Martensen wrote in his testamentary (in Danish) “I got it once in my childhood, probably shortly after I had lost my mother. Father brought it to me after a visit at Mrs. Heiberg”.
The paper has turned slightly brown. A single crease in the lower right corner.
