A Moroccan Genoui dagger with a rhinoceros grip in its scabbard. This a variant of the Moroccan Koumaya dagger with a straight single edged blade c. 25 cm. long with a fuller on each side near the spine. The wooden scabbard covered in faded red velvet has two large engraved mounts in white metal.
Condition
The velvet on the scabbard damaged and the lower mount repaired.
