Bäckaskog Palace was owned by Crown Prince Karl, later Karl XV of Sweden, from 1853 and until his death in 1872. Hereafter, the palace was owned by his daughter and son-in-law, Crown Princess Lovisa and Crown Prince Frederik (VIII) of Denmark.
Provenance: King Frederik VIII of Denmark (1843–1912) on Bäckaskog Palace in Scania and later King Frederik VIII of Denmark at Amalineborg Palace. Hereafter his descendants until today.
