Bjørn Wiinblad (b. Copenhagen 1918, d. 2006)

Two earthenware figures modelled in the shape of a centaur with candlestick holder and flower centrepiece. Decorated with resp. green glaze on light base and polychrome glaze. Centaur signed L.1, monogram, 87, Danmark. Flower centrepiece signed Bjørn Wiinblad, 83. H. 22,5 and 32 cm. (2)

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including surface scratches, marks and light dirt. Centaur with traces of candle wax and a few small chips on one foot. Flower centre piece with traces from a sticker mark.
