Jens Juel (b. Balslev, Funen 1745, d. Copenhagen 1802)

The portrait of Anna Elisabeth Battier is at Statens Museum for Kunst (The Danish National Gallery), inv. no. 3634.

Christophe Battier was a senior in the Reformed Church in Copenhagen, he had to leave the church because of peculation and went to Sweden. He later died in Paris 1783.
