The present table was used by Mogens Lassen in his home at Sølystvej 5 in Klampenborg. The table illustrates Mogens Lassen's Nordic, wooden interpretation of the iconic “LC-6” table by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, and it is a tribute to the modernism that Mogens Lassen found on this journeys to Paris. It was thus suitable that the table came to be part of the Danish Pavilion at the World Exposition in Paris, 1937. It is possible that a few tables of this model were made. It is known that Mogens Lassen suggested pieces for clients who had their homes decorated or houses built by him. The table is illustrated as part of the interior decoration of an apartment in Christianshavn at the Pavilion in Paris in 1937, and then this particular example in photos from Mogens Lassen's own home. Whether the actual table exhibited in Paris went back to Mogens Lassen, and thus this actual example is the table from Paris is unknown, but definitely possible.
