Johan Jacob Krohn (1841–1925) was the son of the sculptor and medallist F. C. Krohn and Christen Købke's sister, Sophie Susanne Købke. He was a writer and headmaster at the prestigious private school for boys Krebs' School in Copenhagen from 1880 to 1914. As a writer, he wrote several stories for children. The most famous is “Peters Jul” (Peter's Christmas, 1870) with illustrations by his brother, the painter and director Pietro Krohn.
