The internationally recognized Danish photographer Krass Clement is known for a number of acclaimed photo books – his preferred medium. His photographic work is inspired by the Parisian 'flâneur' tradition mixed with Scandinavian melancholy. In his photographs Clement works between spectator and reality. Though his photographs stand on the shoulders of a realistic, documentary tradition, Clement is more concerned with capturing a state of mind than with situations. Thus his photographs are more evocations of moods with a humanistic expression.
