A good Indo-Persian Kulah Khud and Dhal. The helmet is complete with original liner in red, chain mail, feather holders, nasal protection and top spike. It is c. 28 cm in height without the chain mail decorated all over with floral motif and inscription. The shield is c. 46,5 cm in diameter with a rim reinforced by brass decorated with florals and along the rim a broad inscription.
Condition
The chain mail on the helmet is rusty and the original padding is missing on the back of the shield.
