H. Chr. Christensen, A Catalogue Raisonné of the Works of P. S. Krøyer no. 658. Study for no. 663 in the Catalogue Raisonné from the same year and with the measurements 100×153 cm. That one purchased by Den kgl. Malerisamling (The Royal Paintings Collection) in 1900, now Statens Museum for Kunst (National Gallery of Denmark), here titled “Badende Drenge en Sommeraften ved Skagen Strand” (Bathing boys on a summer evening at Skagen beach).
