Finn Juhl (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989)

Unique, exceptional cherry wood armchair. Seat and “floating” back and armrest upholstered with sheepskin. Designed 1943. Made by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, Copenhagen.

Provenance: Vilhelm Lauritzen's summer recidence at Tibirke bakker, Denmark. The chair was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1943, and here displayed as a chair for a lady's dressing table.
