Kay Fisker (b. Frederiksberg 1893, d. København 1965)

Stool of black lacquered wood mounted on tapering legs, profiled rail. Seat upholstered with black horsehair. Designed 1925. Made by cabinetmaker V. Bloch Jørgensen.

Provenance: Architect Kay Fisker (1893–1965). Hence by decent in the family. The present stool is one out of eight pieces, that were made for the Danish Pavilion at the Paris World Exhibition in 1925.
