The press photo is part of the Timeout! exhibition curated by Scanpix which is on display in the lounge area during the book fair Bogforum 9 to 11 November in Bella Center, Copenhagen.

Timeout! shows a selection of the best of the company's newly digitalised historical press photos from the 1930's to the 1960's. The photos were shot by Danish press photographers and are from a period when photos became more common in the news columns of magazines and papers. They are important visual documentation elaborating the printed words. They show the harsh realities of life in a concentrated form with references to the photographers from Magnum group and other great photographers of the 20th century.
