The art magazine Helhesten was the Abstract Expressionism's voice in Denmark in the early 1940s. The group included artists like Ejler Bille, Henry Heerup og Carl-Henning Pedersen, but after only nine issues the group had to stop publishing the magazine due to financial difficulties.
All issued: 1941–1942: issue 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5–6. 1942: issue 1 and 1943: isssue 2–3, 4, and 1944: issue 5–6.
