A Danish officers sabre c. 1820 in its iron scabbard. The pommel in the shape of a lions hilt, the grip in chequered ebony, the crowned monogram of Frederik VI on the lancet, a c. 78 cm. long curved blade decorated with the kings crowned monogram on one side and the Danish coat of arms on the other, the iron scabbard with brass mounts and two suspension rings.

Condition

The grip cracked, the blade nicked and spotted, the scabbard rust marked and the lower mount damaged.
