“Guldhøj chair”. Foldable solid teak stool with tanned leather seat. Model PH-41. Manufactured by Poul Hundevad, Vamdrup for Domus Danica, with label.

Copy of stool from the Early Bronze Age found in the burial mound near Vamdrup, dated 1300 BC and thus the oldest surviving piece of furniture in Scandinavia. The original is found in the National Museum's collection.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use. Good condition.
