A larger and smaller Rococo tabatiere of Rococo Cypraea tigris and parcel-gilt silver, the smallest lid chased with rocailles, flowers and pricked with “B”, the other engraved with rocailles, schooner and “ASJ Ganges 1782”. Both apparently unmarked. L. 7,2 and 8,9 cm. (2)

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Both with a few minimal haircracks. The largest tabatiere with silver repair/reinforcement and peelings/repair at the narrow end.
