Russian wood coffin for silver cutlery, mounted with brass handles and corner ornaments. 19th century. H. 31 cm. L. 72 cm. D. 46 cm.
Provenance: Acquired in Copenhagen by seller's Danish family by Russian emigrants shortly after the Russian revolution. Obviously the silver cutlery was already sold.
Condition
Wear due to age and use.
