“Gold Hill Chair”. A solid teak folding stool with black leather seat. Model PH 41. Made by Poul Hundevad, Vamdrup. H. 37 cm.

Literature: Mobilia 1957.

Replica of bronze age stool found in a grave outside Vamdrup in Jutland dated 1300 B.C. and thus the oldest preserved piece of furniture in Scandinavia. The original stool is in the collection of the National Museum of Denmark.

Condition

Wear, marks and scratches. Leather with minor surface crackles, minor small tears.
