The Imperial Porcelain Factory, St. Petersburg. Marked on base in Cyrillic blue H I for Tsar Nicholas I (1825–1855), signed N. Yakovlev (in Cyrillic), dated 1835 and numbered “X 2. 4.”, Cyrillic red owner's no. “N 6142 BX”. Diam. 23.5 cm.
Provenance: Acquired by Carl Johan Rasmussen, president of the Danish company Great Northern Telegraph Company in Moscow in the years before and after the Russian revolution.
