Provenance: Scanpix historical archive. Scandinavia's largest photo agency Scanpix has a large, exclusive analogue archive of press photographs from the birth of modern photography. The photographs were shot by leading Danish press photographers and are from a period when photos became more common in the news columns. They elaborated the printed words and stand today as important visual documentation of the culture and everyday life of the not so distant past.
