Philip Arctander (b. 1916, d. 1994)

“Clam”. Easy chair with round armrests and legs of oak. Seat and back upholstered with crude canvas with red flower print. Designed 1944. Made in the late 1940s by Nordisk Staal- & Møbel Central.

Needs to be reupholstered. Legs with normal signs of use including marks and scratches. Small pierced nail holes from previous upholster. One armrest and one leg with dark mark - see photo. One leg's end somewhat sanded down to keep chair even. One leg with repair.
