Russian silver-gilt and champlevé enamel serving spoon, design in old-Russian style. Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov, assayer IK 1875 (in Cyrillic), Moscow town mark, 91 standard. Additional assay mark from after 1917. Weight c. 136 gr. L. 18 cm.

Provenance: Seller's father acquired the above mentioned as employee at the Russian embassy in Moscow as an agricultural attaché 1934–1937 and 1946–1972.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age, among others few marks and scratches plus enamel chips.
