Børge Mogensen (b. Aalborg 1914, d. Gentofte 1972)
A free-standing three-seated sofa with oak legs, upholstered on sides, back and loose cushions with slightly patinated natural leather. Model 2333. Designed 1971. Manufactured by Fredericia Furniture in 1994. L. 207 cm.
Børge Mogensen designed this timeless sofa series, one of his last, in 1971. With its pure, unpretentious idiom, the model is a natural culmination of the designer's lifelong quest for clearly defined simplicity. His son, Peter Mogensen, later added a chair 2334 and a 2½-person sofa 2335, thus completing the series. Reference Fredericia Furniture.
Minor wear due to age and use. Good condition.
