Two scenes from Moscow from respectively old and new times. Both signed. S. A. Amosskiy (in Cyrillic). Both oil on panel. 41×52 cm and 37×49 cm. (2).
The first tram was in use Moscow from 1899.
Provenance: The Danish owner's father-in-law, who worked for the Great Northern Telegraph Company in Russia shortly after the revolution.
In need of a light surface cleaning. One painting with crackles/shrinkage cracks in panel.
