Inscribed by Niels Bohr in Danish to “Hr. Prof. E. Biilmann ærbødigst fra Forfatteren.” [Mr. Professor E. Biilmann respectfully from the author]. Housed in paper box.
Presentation copy of Bohr's first published scientific paper, written while he was a 20-year-old student at Copenhagen University. Inscribed by Bohr in Danish on front wrapper to Einar Biilmann, mathematician and professor at Copenhagen University.
The original paper submitted to the Academy was written in Danish. It survives in the Bohr Archives, but it was never published.
Very rare.
